The Global Indian Council marked India's Republic Day with a virtual celebration joined by members and dignitaries across continents. The program reflected unity, patriotism, and cultural pride within the diaspora. President P.C. Mathew addressed the gathering on democracy, diversity, and national values. A highlight of the evening was the release and screening of GIC's short feature film "The Footprints – Pairon ke Nishan," inspired by the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. General Secretary Sudhir Nambiar also shared updates on GIC's mission, spelling bee initiatives, and partnerships including collaboration with the Indo-American Press Club.
